In the promotional event, Musk said that he has tasked the company's top engineering team to develop a tuning option package specifically developed for German highway conditions. This option package will be provided free of charge to those who have purchased Tesla S German car owners and will be equipped on Tesla S sold in Germany in the future. Musk did not describe the details of this tuning option package. He only said that this option package can improve the vehicle's handling at high speeds. Consumers hope that while improving control stability, this optional package can cancel the electronic speed limit function.

  Because Germany's highway network is very developed, the average speed of vehicles is higher than that of many countries. High-speed driving will increase the power consumption and shorten the driving range of electric vehicles. In response to this problem, Musk assured German users that the first six electric vehicle charging stations have broken ground in Germany and will be opened by the end of 2014. Next, Tesla will also deploy 40 to 50 electric vehicle charging stations in Germany, thereby achieving full coverage of charging stations in Germany.
