The meaning of AG3 battery

1. Electric energy can be obtained from various forms of energy changes. Among them, the device that converts chemical energy into electrical energy is called a chemical battery, generally referred to as a battery. Batteries are divided into primary batteries and storage batteries.

2. After discharge, the internal active substances cannot be regenerated by charging. It is called a primary battery, also known as a disposable battery.

3. After discharge, the internal active substances can be regenerated by charging, and the electrical energy is stored as chemical energy. When it is discharged, the chemical energy is converted into electrical energy again. It is called a AG3 battery, also known as a secondary battery.

Common technical terms for storage batteries

Charging: When a AG3 battery obtains electrical energy from the outside world, it is called charging.

Discharging: When a AG3 battery outputs electrical energy to an external circuit, it is called discharging.

Terminal voltage: The potential difference between the positive and negative electrodes of the battery after the circuit is closed is called the voltage or terminal voltage of the battery.

Free discharge: The consumption of battery capacity caused by the local use of the battery. The ratio of the capacity before the capacity loss is shelved is called the free discharge rate of the AG3 battery.

Service life: Each time a battery is charged and discharged, it is called a charge-discharge cycle. The number of charge-discharge cycles that a battery can perform while maintaining a certain output capacity is called the battery's service life. Generally, the number of cycles of a battery is 350 times, which means that the total amount of electrical energy that a battery can store and then release in its lifetime is certain.

For example: If you discharge the battery and then fully charge it every time, it is 350-500 times. If you only use 10% of the energy and then fully charge it every time, it is 3500-5000 times. If you only use 1% of the energy and then fully charge it every time, it is 35000-50000 times.

Starting batteries: mainly used for starting and lighting of automobiles, motorcycles, tractors, diesel engines, etc.;

Stationary batteries: mainly used in communications, power plants, computer systems as backup power for protection and automatic control;

Traction batteries: mainly used for power sources of various battery vehicles, forklifts, shovels, etc.;

Railway batteries: mainly used for starting and lighting of railway diesel locomotives, electric locomotives, and passenger cars;

Energy storage batteries: mainly used for storing electricity for wind and solar power generation.
