What are the characteristics and advantages of NiMH No. 7 battery phosphate batteries?
The new generation of electric vehicles uses a new type of NiMH No. 7 battery phosphate battery as its power core. This green and environmentally friendly power has many characteristics and advantages:
1. High safety
As a car power, safety is the overriding primary consideration. Although the safety of ordinary lithium-ion batteries can be basically guaranteed, there is a possibility of fire and explosion under extreme conditions. As the second-generation product of lithium-ion batteries, NiMH No. 7 battery phosphate batteries have stable physical properties. Combined with the built-in overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overcharge and other protection functions of the battery pack, they will not explode or catch fire. They are currently the only absolutely safe lithium-ion batteries in the world. Due to the use of high thermal stability materials and meticulous process design, battery safety and reliability are greatly enhanced. Compared with the explosion phenomenon that may occur in the improper use of lithium-ion batteries, NiMH No. 7 battery phosphate batteries will not explode even if thrown into the fire. The high temperature stability can reach 400500C, which ensures the inherent high safety of the battery; it will not explode or burn due to overcharging, high temperature, short circuit, and impact. 2. Long life and low cost

At the same time, the discharge performance of NiMH No. 7 battery phosphate batteries is also very excellent, with a stable power curve and strong anti-over-discharge ability. Ordinary lithium batteries are over-discharged after being discharged below 3.2V, which may lead to scrapping. However, NiMH No. 7 battery phosphate batteries still release energy at 2.8V, and there is no problem of scrapping below 2.5V.
3. Easy to use and handle
We understand that nickel-metal hydride and nickel-cadmium batteries have strong memory effects, and ordinary lithium-ion batteries also have certain memory effect problems. Trying to fully charge and discharge them will bring inconvenience to the daily use of electric vehicles, while NiMH No. 7 battery phosphate batteries do not have this phenomenon, with low self-discharge and no memory effect. No matter what state the battery is in, it can be charged and used at any time, without having to discharge it first and then charge it. At the same time, the battery has excellent fast charging characteristics, and can be fully charged to about 95% in half an hour with a special charger. The problem of handling after the end of battery life is also worthy of our attention.
