Domestic lithium-ion electrolyte manufacturers basically purchase lithium hexafluorophosphate from Japanese companies to produce lithium-ion battery electrolyte products. Before the company successfully achieved large-scale production, the production technology of this product was basically monopolized by three Japanese companies: Kanto Denka, Suterakemifa, and Morita Chemical.

The rapid development trend of new energy vehicles will bring explosive growth to the lithium-ion battery industry. Based on the average consumption of 40 kg of lithium-ion battery electrolyte per new energy vehicle, the global new energy vehicle demand for lithium-ion battery electrolyte will be about 275,800 tons by 2019, with a compound growth rate of 86%.

Industry analysts predict that the market capacity of lithium hexafluorophosphate will show rapid growth in the future. Once the new energy vehicle market has a breakthrough, it will bring geometric growth to the upstream lithium-ion battery electrolyte and lithium hexafluorophosphate.
