Characteristics of 16340 battery:
Lithium is the smallest and most reactive metal in the periodic table. Therefore, the small volume density has a high volume density and is widely welcomed by customers and technical engineers. However, the characteristics of organic chemistry are too obvious, resulting in high risk factors. When lithium metal materials are exposed to gas, they explode with severe redox reactions of CO2. In order to improve the safety factor and working voltage, experts have developed high-purity graphite and lithium cobalt acid raw materials to store lithium molecules. The molecular formula of this feedstock creates a nanoscale microstorage grid that can be used to store lithium molecules. In this way, even if the outer casing of the rechargeable battery is broken, the oxygen atoms are large and cannot enter this tiny storage space, so the lithium molecules cannot easily contact the carbon dioxide to avoid explosion.
The basic principles of 16340 battery make it possible to achieve high volume relative density and safety targets. When a lithium battery is charged, the positive lithium molecules lose their electronic components and the air is oxidized into a lithium-ion battery. The lithium-ion battery swims to the negative level through the lithium-ion battery's electrolyte, enters negative level storage, and obtains an electronic device that returns to the lithium molecule. During charging and discharging, the entire process flow is reversed. In order to avoid battery contact and short circuit failure, the battery will add a separator with many small holes to avoid short circuit failure. A good separator paper can also automatically close the small holes when the battery temperature is too high, so that the lithium-ion battery cannot be regenerated, so as to learn from waste and avoid risks.
Protection measures: 16340 battery will be used for the first time after being overcharged at high operating voltage. The higher the operating voltage, the higher the risk factor. When the operating voltage of the lithium battery cell is high, the total number of lithium molecules remaining in the cathode material is less than half. If the battery is charged, the resulting lithium metal material will be deposited on the surface of the cathode material because the negative memory has been filled with lithium molecules. These lithium molecules form a network crystal structure from the negative surface layer into the lithium-ion battery. This lithium metal crystal can pass through the diaphragm, causing a positive and negative short circuit failure. Sometimes rechargeable batteries explode before a short-circuit failure occurs because the raw materials such as lithium-ion electrolyte explode in the current vapor, causing the battery shell or pressure valve to burst, allowing carbon dioxide to react with the lithium atoms deposited on the negative surface layer, and then explode.
Therefore, when charging lithium batteries, the operating voltage limit must be set to ensure its service life, volume and safety factor. The ideal battery charging operating voltage is limited to. Lithium battery cells should also have a lower operating voltage when charging and discharging. When lithium-ion operating voltage is lower than the voltage, some raw materials will begin to be destroyed. Because the life of a rechargeable battery is a lithium battery, the working voltage will be lower as it is longer, so it is best not to put it in to stop charging and discharging. From charging to discharging to this period, the kinetic energy released by lithium batteries is only 3% or less. Therefore, it is an ideal charge and discharge cut-off voltage. When the battery is charged, in addition to the limitation of the operating voltage, current limitation is also necessary. When the current is too large, the lithium-ion battery cannot catch up with the storage grid and will concentrate on the surface of the material. 16340 battery appear on the surface of raw materials after they are obtained from electronic devices, which can cause dangerous factors like overcharging. If the battery sleeve is broken, it will explode.
Therefore, the maintenance of lithium batteries at least includes: battery charging working voltage limit, charge and discharge working voltage limit, and current limit. Generally speaking, lithium batteries are the same set. In addition to the lithium battery core, there is also a lithium battery protection board. This lithium battery protection board is the key to providing these three types of maintenance. However, the maintenance of these three types of lithium-ion battery protection boards is obviously insufficient, and lithium-ion battery explosion accidents still occur frequently around the world.
