  Focusing on "double innovation in technology application, a new starting point for large-scale energy storage", it will accurately connect the global energy storage market and the global energy storage market in multiple dimensions by organizing keynote speeches, exhibitions, innovation competitions, special seminars, project inspections, new product releases, technical exchanges and other activities.   Thanks to the organizer, I would like to briefly share with you Jiangsu’s experience and experience in energy storage research and development in the past year or two. Jiangsu Institute was established in 1958. At present, Jiangsu is not only the leader in electric power, but also in the entire design industry.

  Recently, several companies in Jiangsu Institute have been transformed into comprehensive energy engineering companies. Our business extends from outside the province, including abroad. This is our project in the past year or two. In fact, looking at the entire energy storage power station and business, the overall economic and social benefits are quite good. Let’s focus on the application of energy storage in Tongli, which was reported in various places at that time. Including Zhongtian’s energy storage, including Zhenjiang’s energy storage, including Nanjing’s energy storage that is being implemented, etc.

  This is the situation related to energy storage. Thanks to Zhongtian’s trust in us, Zhongtian’s general contracting project has been put into production in 2017. This is the corresponding award we received.

  Let’s briefly review it in three parts.

  First of all, we want to emphasize that energy storage is actually an important part of the entire energy transformation, and energy transformation is also imperative. From an energy perspective and a climate perspective, changes must be made. Xi Jinping proposed clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient. We understand the construction of a smart energy system with electricity as the center and the power grid as the platform. Why do we talk about electricity as the center and the power grid as the platform? Relatively speaking, wherever there are people, there will basically be a power grid, so using the power grid as a platform is the most basic function.

  Energy storage plays a major role in the development of the entire smart energy system. Energy storage promotes the development of smart energy. This is the situation of energy storage in the past three years. Starting from 2017, the user side of the Zhongtian project began to vigorously promote it. By 2018 In 2017, energy storage on the grid side began to play a leading role. This year, energy storage on the grid side can be said to have a broader world.

  The State Grid proposes three types and two networks. We understand that the most important thing here is to use the resources of substations to build energy storage data centers and even photovoltaic power stations, and even distributed energy stations. The multi-station hub type is embodied in the use of existing substation resources to bring the role of distributed energy storage into full play.

  The following is an idea based on comprehensive capacity planning and design of energy storage. First of all, energy storage is divided into several categories. I won’t go into details here. Experts have talked about it before. We believe that the most important forms of energy storage at present, especially on the grid side, are pumped hydro energy storage and electrochemical energy storage, which we value more.

  Experts have introduced it before, but what I want to emphasize here is that it does not matter whether it is on the power generation side, the grid side, or the user side. Lithium batteries and supercapacitors are currently recommended, and for users, lithium batteries + flywheels are more promising.

  The role of hybrid energy storage is becoming increasingly prominent at present, and its role is mainly reflected in power and energy. Currently, lithium battery + supercapacitor is a widely promoted combination method, which is relatively mature. From the perspective of the entire hybrid energy and hybrid energy storage, for the entire integrated energy system, it can make our power system or integrated energy system more flexible and the entire system more energy efficient. This list is a list of current cases that have unified the use of hybrid energy storage in integrated energy systems. The focus is on Tongli's hybrid energy storage. In addition to lithium batteries and supercapacitors, Tongli's hybrid energy storage also involves tiered utilization.

  The design of energy storage has been discussed by several experts before. The key point is, why was Zhejiang Energy Storage able to do so in such a period of time? Mainly reflected in this idea, the idea of standardized design optimization, the entire energy storage design adopts a standardized design model, and its processing is factory-based and installed on site, which greatly shortens the construction period.

  Zhenjiang Energy Storage put the project into operation in a very short period of time from early design to operation. Mainly reflected in five aspects: from site selection to equipment selection, to wiring, to the construction process, including the source grid load storage system, whether it is grid-side energy storage, the source grid load storage system is a more important part.

  How do we design comprehensive capabilities during the energy storage design process? Hybrid energy storage is an important part of comprehensive capabilities, and we understand that comprehensive capabilities involve all aspects, whether it is energy companies or comprehensive energy service providers, it reflects how to create a clean, low-carbon and efficient system. First, build a physical system. The physical system must analyze the current resources, including the entire comprehensive energy architecture, and build our information system on this basis. After the information system is completed, a complete service system is built based on three flows: value flow, information flow and energy flow. What is currently emphasized is that the service system is not just for one party, nor is it just for the energy supplier, but a shared service system, and everyone can use its value-added space on the entire service platform.

  After the service system is constructed, the social mechanism that ultimately changes the energy usage habits of the entire society is a complete set of system research. We believe that these four links are integral to each other and are indispensable.

  In the process of comprehensive energy planning and design, energy storage is the most important one. First of all, I will not talk about the time relationship before. On the basis of energy endowment, we carry out energy prediction and balancing. Balancing energy storage involves the most critical , the energy storage mentioned here is not just electricity storage, but also involves heat storage and cold storage. The comprehensive capabilities are special in this place, not just electrochemical batteries.

  Then comes the comprehensive energy system configuration. We understand that the five possible aspects are based on the entire system architecture. The temporal relationship does not unfold.

  Case sharing, last year in Suzhou for half a year, we first made the Tongli New Energy Town planning, including energy storage and energy stations, all planned. Later, due to land issues, the planned system was implemented in April. In the energy diagram on the left of the 53-acre Nanyang Service Center that we have seen so far, the thick line in the middle is the main idea of taking electricity as the center and the power grid as the platform. The biggest feature of this project is that the green part is the ring network where light, wind, and energy storage are all based on DC. This is the part that is highlighted today. We use these technologies to reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency.

  In addition to electrical energy storage, there are also foundations such as heat storage and cold storage. These technologies can improve the overall energy efficiency of comprehensive energy. The most important thing in 53 acres of land is hybrid energy storage. In addition to lithium batteries and supercapacitors, we originally imagined that these two types are different. One is power type and the other is energy type. After mixing these two types, we can provide distributed storage. Energy regulatory capabilities. During the operation, we imagined that the smaller hybrid energy storage would be connected to 375V DC, and the larger one would be connected to 750V. The two sets constitute the most important part of Tongli New Energy Town.

  The high-temperature phase-change thermal storage combined heating and cooling device uses self-developed composite high-temperature phase-change bricks as the heat storage medium to improve our overall energy efficiency.

  In addition, compressed air energy storage is different from what I just talked about. This does not require specific physical restrictions and is not limited to physical conditions. In the future, the sorting efficiency can be increased to 130%. Electric heating and cooling are fully embodied in this system.   Finally, let me share with you the multi-station integration we are currently doing. We want to integrate this energy storage and data center, which reflects five aspects, including construction, fire protection, overall data, etc. It is still in progress, and I will share it with you after some follow-up operations.
