  Where is the way out for scientific research on AAA rechargeable battery materials?

  The core of lithium-ion batteries is to find and select high-energy lithium storage electrode materials. At present, traditional AAA rechargeable battery electrode materials have problems such as low utilization rate, slow lithium ion diffusion, and large polarization, which restricts the improvement of AAA rechargeable battery performance. So how to improve the performance of lithium-ion batteries?

  Lithium iron phosphate material is widely used in lithium-ion batteries due to its unique physical and chemical properties. They have the advantages of reducing polarization, increasing charge and discharge current density, improving discharge capacity and cycle stability, which are conducive to the development of high-performance, large-capacity, and high-power batteries. The sintering technology of lithium iron phosphate materials is an important development direction. Researchers from all over the world have conducted a lot of research on nanoelectrodes and have made great progress. Some scientific research results have become mature products. The most typical example is that after Fenggu energy-saving sintering technology matured, the lithium iron phosphate cathode material of the pilot line and final test line was used as a power AAA rechargeable battery. Lithium iron phosphate has low conductivity and low diffusion coefficient, which limits its wide application in lithium-ion batteries.

  After the lithium iron phosphate material is nanosized, the charge and discharge performance of the battery is significantly improved. The smaller the particle size of nano-lithium iron phosphate, the smaller the depth and range of lithium ion deintercalation, and the higher the diffusion rate; the larger the specific surface area, the larger the reaction interface, and the faster the lithium ion diffusion channel provided by the grain boundary. The smaller the particle size, the higher the utilization rate, the smaller the irreversible capacity, and the denser the nanoparticles. The gaps between lithium iron phosphate particles reduce the stress on lithium ions during the deintercalation process. These characteristics are beneficial to improving the high-rate charge and discharge performance of LiFePO4 batteries. A123 Systems was founded in 2001 and quickly became a star in the battery industry with its lithium iron phosphate nanomaterials and power batteries. The advantage of A123 is that it is possible to produce lithium iron phosphate cathode materials with uniform nano-sized ultra-small particles (said to be less than 100nm), which greatly improves the high discharge power of the battery due to the sharp increase in particles and total surface argon. EA and overall stability and cycle life are not affected.
