For instance, in electric vehicles, liquid cooling systems are often used to keep the battery pack within a safe temperature range. Battery cell design and materials also play a crucial role. High-quality electrode materials with good structural stability and conductivity can improve cycle life. For example, some advanced cathode materials have a more stable crystal structure that can withstand repeated lithium insertion and extraction.
