　　China Energy Storage Network News: Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the establishment of a national engineering research center for electrochemical energy storage technology in Fujian Province. This is the only national engineering research center approved by the National Development and Reform Commission this year and the second national engineering research center approved by Fujian Province in 20 years. The center is led by CATL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

　　Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the establishment of a national engineering research center for electrochemical energy storage technology in Fujian Province. This is the only national engineering research center approved by the National Development and Reform Commission this year and the second national engineering research center approved by Fujian Province in 20 years.

　　The center is led by CATL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and collaborates with 6 universities including Tsinghua University and Xiamen University, 2 scientific research units including China Electric Power Research Institute and China Automotive Technology R&D Center, and 7 upstream and downstream enterprises including Xiamen Tungsten Industry Co., Ltd. Established together.

　　In recent years, with the continuous breakthroughs in battery technology and the substantial reduction in costs, the development of the electrochemical energy storage industry has entered a fast track, gradually transitioning from demonstration applications to commercialization. This year, relying on the development of battery industries such as CATL New Energy, Fujian Province took the lead in launching a national Ministry of Science and Technology demonstration project for a 100MWh lithium battery energy storage power station.
