How to balance mismatched LR03 alkaline battery?

1. The capacity error of lithium-ion batteries is absolute. With the use of lithium-ion batteries, this error is expanding. Factory matching can only delay the time when lithium-ion batteries have obvious errors, and serious capacity errors will eventually occur. Therefore, the error is absolute, and the purpose of lithium-ion battery protection and equalization systems is only to alleviate this error and prevent the danger caused by the error. Capacity balancing is impossible and should not be pursued as a goal of balancing.

2. At present, there is a method of capacity compensation, which is to take out some power from high-capacity lithium-ion batteries to compensate for the consumption of low-capacity batteries. This method has no problem in theory, but it is very troublesome to do in practice, especially the efficiency is difficult to increase.

3. Charging voltage balancing is necessary, otherwise some lithium-ion batteries will be undercharged in the later stage of charging. Some lithium-ion batteries are overcharged, undercharging affects the life of the battery, and overcharging can cause danger.

4. It is better to do undervoltage protection than discharge balancing. If any single lithium-ion battery is undervoltage, it will be powered off to prevent danger caused by overdischarge.
