Recently, the national standards publicity and implementation meeting for the "Specifications for Recycling and Dismantling of Vehicle Power Batteries" (hereinafter referred to as "Disassembly Specifications") and "Residual Energy Testing for Recycling and Utilization of Vehicle Power Batteries" (hereinafter referred to as "Residual Energy Testing") were officially held . Can the release of the publicity and implementation meeting solve the current increasingly urgent recycling dilemma faced by the used battery market?
In the relevant provisions of the "Dismantling Specifications" and "Remaining Energy Testing", strict requirements are imposed on the safety, operating procedures, storage and management of waste Ni-MH battery pack recycling, and the appearance inspection, voltage identification, and The detection procedures such as charge and discharge current judgment and residual energy test are also stipulated.
Although the above regulations have improved industry standards to a certain extent, they have not yet addressed the biggest constraint on the current recycling of used batteries, that is, the issue of battery model and size.

BYD and other car companies involved in the battery business recycle batteries, while most new energy car companies not involved in the battery business do not have clear requirements for recycling.
At present, battery companies including Waterma, Guoxuan High-Tech, CATL, AVIC Lithium Battery, BAK and other battery companies have launched battery recycling business. However, due to the lack of cooperation from car companies, the used batteries that can be recycled account for a small proportion of the market. Considering the low economic benefits and lack of application channels, even the recycled batteries are mostly stranded in warehouses, and few are truly efficiently processed.
However, driven by the industry's generally optimistic market prospects and social responsibilities, companies have always been enthusiastic about exploring battery recycling business models. In addition to BYD's establishment of efficient dismantling and recycling plants, Ladder has also applied business models in home energy storage and communication base stations. In addition, Waterma has also explored a set of recycling solutions for decommissioned power batteries, that is, batteries with echelon utilization value are used in energy storage power stations and mobile electric vehicles. Batteries that cannot be reused in echelons are regenerated to regenerate decomposed materials to avoid environmental pollution.
In addition, companies such as CATL and BAK also have unique advantages in recycling applications.
