　　1. Lithium primary battery

　　Also known as a lithium battery. It can be discharged continuously or intermittently. Once the electricity is depleted, it cannot be reused and is currently widely used in electronic products with lower power consumption such as cameras. Lithium primary batteries have low self-discharge and can be stored for up to 3 years. If stored under refrigerated conditions, the effect will be better. Storing lithium primary batteries in a low-temperature location is a good method. Attention: Lithium primary batteries are different from lithium-ion batteries. Lithium primary batteries cannot be charged, and charging is very dangerous!

　　2. Lithium ion batteries

　　Also known as secondary lithium batteries. It can be stored for more than half a year at 20 ℃ due to its low self discharge rate and most of its capacity can be restored.

　　The self discharge phenomenon exists in lithium batteries. If the battery voltage is kept below 3.6V for a long time, it will cause over discharge and damage the internal structure of the battery, reducing its lifespan. Therefore, lithium batteries that have been stored for a long time should be recharged every 3-6 months, that is, charged to a voltage of 3.8-3.9V (the optimal storage voltage for lithium batteries is around 3.85V), maintained at a discharge depth of 40% -60%, and should not be fully charged. Batteries should be stored in a dry environment between 4 ℃ and 35 ℃ or in moisture-proof packaging. Keep away from heat sources and avoid direct sunlight.

　　Lithium batteries have a wide range of temperature applications and can still be used outdoors in winter in the north, but their capacity will decrease significantly. If they return to room temperature, their capacity can be restored.
