　　The output energy of a battery refers to the electrical work that can be done by the battery under certain discharge conditions. It is equal to the product of the battery's discharge capacity and the average operating voltage of the battery, and its unit is commonly expressed in watt hours (Wh).

　　There are two types of specific energy of batteries. One is called weight specific energy, expressed in watt hours per kilogram (Wh/kg); Another type is called volume specific energy, expressed in watt hours per liter (Wh/L). The physical meaning of specific energy is the effective electrical energy possessed by a battery per unit weight or volume. It is an important indicator for comparing the performance of batteries.

　　It must be pointed out that the specific energy of individual batteries and battery packs is different. Due to the need for connection strips, external containers, and inner packaging layers when combining batteries, the specific energy of the battery pack is always lower than that of the individual battery.

　　The power of a battery refers to the energy it can output per unit time under certain discharge conditions. The unit is watts (W), or kilowatts (kW). The power per unit weight or volume of a battery is called its specific power, which is measured in watts per kilogram (W/kg) or watts per liter (W/L). If a battery has a higher specific power, it indicates that there is more energy given per unit weight or volume per unit time, indicating that the battery can discharge with a higher current. Therefore, the specific power of a battery is also an important indicator for evaluating its performance.
