In the discharge state of the battery, when the current flows through the inside of the battery, there is no need to overcome the resistance caused by the internal resistance of the battery, so the working voltage is always lower than the open circuit voltage, and the opposite is true during charging. The discharge working voltage of lithium-ion batteries is around 3.6V.
