Lastly, firmware and software management in smart devices helps. Many modern devices use battery management systems (BMS) that regulate charging current and voltage; keeping the device’s software updated ensures the BMS functions correctly. Avoiding intensive tasks (e.g., gaming while charging) reduces heat buildup during use, further mitigating swelling risks.
