In addition, the new technology produces hydrogen that can be stored at a lower pressure. Currently, the system has been tested on small motorcycles and golf carts. Based on the further development of the technology, researchers believe that it can allow electric vehicles to have a range of 3,000 to 3,600 miles (about 4,800 to 5,800 kilometers).

The only requirement is that the driver needs to stop and replace the 14250 battery fluid when driving about 4,800 kilometers, just like refueling the car, without the trouble of charging lithium-ion 14250 battery electric vehicles for 45 minutes. The researchers said that the process is similar to stopping to refuel. In fact, the system may be converted into existing gas station dispensers.
