Magnis develops 18650 battery 3.7v 6000mah to cooperate with Singapore electric supercar manufacturer

According to foreign media reports, lithium-ion battery technology company Magnis has signed a cooperation with Singapore-based electric supercar manufacturer Dendrobium to develop and produce lithium-ion batteries for its electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV).

The Dendrobium D-1 electric supercar was originally debuted at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and was jointly developed by Singapore electric car company Vanda Electrics and Williams Formula 1 Group's Williams Advanced Engineering department. The electric supercar is a supercar from Singapore.

Magnis announced that it has signed a four-party agreement with Dendrobium Automotive Limited, Dendrobium Advanced Technologies Limited and Charge CCC VLLC (C4V) to produce high-performance batteries including semi-solid batteries for the Dendrobium D-1 electric supercar.

Under the new agreement, a working group has been established to produce high-performance batteries using technologies developed by Magnis and C4V. Magnis' lithium-ion battery technology includes cathodes and anodes. The company claims that its technology can significantly reduce battery costs without sacrificing voltage, battery capacity and energy.

The new working group will work together on battery packaging solutions, battery hybrid systems, battery management software, battery performance testing, and battery R&D materials, focusing on developing C4V's second-generation battery technology and semi-solid battery technology for Dendrobium Automotive Limited.

Dendrobium CEO Nigel Gordon-Stewart said: "Dendrobium will produce high-performance vehicles and electric drivetrain solutions for third parties, so today's cooperation agreement is a big step forward for us. We are impressed by the performance of the batteries produced by Magnis and C4V, and we look forward to working with them to produce high-performance batteries to lay the foundation for future electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles."

C4V President Shailesh Uperti said: "This agreement will help develop the next generation of products for the electric vehicle market and shows that electrochemists, scientists, engineers, mining and automotive experts need to unite to develop the next generation of products for the rapidly developing electric vehicle market. C4V is very happy to work with the best multidisciplinary team members through this agreement."
