At present, mobile phone fast charging technology is mainly divided into two categories: low-voltage fast charging and high-voltage fast charging.
There are four main mobile phone fast charging technologies: OppO's VOOC flash charging (fast charging technology that charges for 5 minutes and calls for 2 hours), Samsung's FastCharge, Qualcomm's QuickCharge, and MediaTek's pumpExpress.

1. 5 minutes of charging, 2 hours of talk time OppO’s VOOC flash charging technology
There are two general ways to increase the charging speed, one is to increase the voltage, and the other is to increase the current. Increasing the voltage will increase the heat generated during charging, accelerate battery aging and may cause safety hazards, so the actual effect is not good. In contrast, increasing the current is much more realistic. VOOC technology uses a low-voltage, high-current mode to ensure safety during the charging process.
The actual effect of VOOC flash charging is excellent. The 3000mAh battery can be charged to 75% in 30 minutes, and 5 minutes is enough to charge for 2 hours of talk time.
Currently, the models that use VOOC flash charging include: OppOR7s, OppOR7, OppOR7plus, OppOFind7, OppOR5, OppON3, and OppOU3.
2. Qualcomm QuickCharge2.0
Qualcomm QuickCharge2.0 technology is an upgraded version of QuickCharge1.0 and adopts a new specification. The charging speed is increased by increasing the current and voltage at the same time.
