According to foreign media reports, Swiss battery system manufacturer ecovolta has developed a standardized lithium-ion power battery (Li-iontractionbattery), which can save electric car manufacturers 500,000 euros in research and development costs.

This standard battery greatly reduces the time and cost required to put electric vehicles into mass production. Electric car manufacturers can quickly convert smaller models or previous model series into electrified models and create prototype electric vehicles within a few weeks. Previously, each electric model required a customized battery pack, and the time spent in the process also brought additional risks, and caused electric car manufacturers to be profitable only at a larger production scale. The evoTractionBattery power battery developed by ecovolta has been considered a universal solution that can be put into use quickly.
