1. Materials
Incoming material inspection is an important way to prevent abnormal inflow, and it is also an important way to reduce the defective rate and production costs. In the packaging process, there are two important aspects of incoming materials: one is the aluminum-plastic film itself, and the other is the original battery incoming materials. The abnormal problems of the aluminum-plastic film mainly include the abnormal problems of the aluminum-plastic film itself and the abnormal problems caused by the impact pits. The coating itself should ask whether the color is normal, and whether there are bubbles, stains, scratches, etc. on the surface. The other functions of the aluminum-plastic film itself will be provided by the supplier with corresponding test data, such as the peel strength, processing function, and impermeability of the aluminum foil and PP layer.
Lithium-ion battery companies will also carry out corresponding incoming material inspections and approve them for use. The perforated pits of the aluminum-plastic film are for super and beautiful packaging. The perforated pits first introduce bad CPP damage, pit abnormalities, etc., which will cause corrosion of the aluminum-plastic film of lithium-ion battery injection and large angular stress.
The key to the quality of the punching is the design, the punching and grinding tools, the punching and grinding tools mainly include the concave die, punch, pressure plate and other auxiliary equipment, the design, the length, width and depth of the mold are carried out according to the shape of the battery. 2. Equipment
The mold planning and structural planning of the equipment are undoubtedly very important for packaging. During the top sealing process, due to the presence of the positive and negative electrode ears, the contact surface between the lu/p film and the lu/g is uneven. Good bonding and sealing must be ensured between the PP layer and the PP layer on the surface of the lu/g, and good bonding and sealing must be ensured on the opposite side of the PP layer of the lu/p film in the non-polar ear area.
The design of the equipment packaging mold and the selection of the head are more important. When choosing, you can choose a hard-sealed sealing head that is difficult to add silicone, and the deformation of silicone can compensate for the lack of excellent sealing. You can also plan the hard-sealed mold and dig grooves for packaging with the pole ears. When choosing a soft seal, don't think so much, but be sure to be careful about the packaging process of the soft seal, the seal, and the aging of the high-temperature resistant adhesive.
Too much or too little packaging thickness is not conducive to the plastic film of aluminum packaging. Too much thickness is essentially a poor packaging of aluminum plastic film. The abnormality of the equipment may be due to small pressure or sensor, and the compressed air pressure is unstable. Too little packaging thickness means poor sealing, which may cause the PP layer to melt and expose the aluminum layer. The device can be equipped with a corresponding limit device to achieve the best packaging effect. In addition, when the temperature sensor is abnormal, it will not reach the set process temperature, resulting in over-sealing or under-sealing, resulting in poor packaging.
3. The process
The packaging process is the most critical link, and the key elements in the packaging process are temperature, pressure and time. The best conditions for packaging are that the PP film reaches the melting point and is bonded together, the packaging appearance is excellent without bubbles and wrinkles, the packaging strength is high, the sealing is good, and after insulation inspection.
The packaging strength is checked with a tensile testing machine, and its schematic diagram is shown in Figure 3. In addition to the selection of transverse tensile test method and longitudinal tensile test, tensile testing machines include horizontal tensile testing machines and vertical tensile testing machines. Generally, the vertical machine is generally an electronic universal testing machine. The sensor is in the mobile terminal, so it can do vertical strip, stretching and shrinkage, and sharpness experiments. In terms of stability, the dedicated horizontal peel force testing machine is better than the vertical electronic universal testing machine. Appearance inspection is visual inspection, and the mouth is inspected after vacuuming. Insulation inspection is applied to the ear and aluminum-plastic film instantaneously.
