The world's first hydrogen AA rechargeable battery technology charging pile is built
AFC Energy announced the completion of the first hydrogen AA rechargeable battery charging pile, which follows 10 years of research and development.
Industrial AA rechargeable battery power company AFC Energy announced that the world's first electric vehicle charging pile CH2ARGE based on hydrogen AA rechargeable battery technology has been successfully built.
AFC said this technology will have the potential to supply 100% clean electricity for future electric vehicle charging. The company conducted a demonstration at Dunsford Airport, using a hydrogen AA rechargeable battery charging station to charge a BMW i8.

Ten years ago, AFC Energy began researching the battery technology of fuel lithium-ion battery manufacturers, marking the beginning of the commercialization journey of lithium-ion batteries for this technology.
Adam Bond, CEO of AFC Energy (Juda Lithium Battery), said: It is estimated that the number of electric vehicles on British roads will increase from the current 90,000 to 9 million by 2030.
If electricity is to be generated from a central location, large-scale investments will be made in transforming the distribution network. The system features a small AA rechargeable battery connected to a converter, similar to what Toyota uses at its electric vehicle research center.
The converter transfers the energy produced by the AA rechargeable battery to the charger. The system also supports 48V lithium-ion battery packs for maximum power requirements.
By developing and demonstrating the effectiveness of hydrogen AA rechargeable batterys in electric vehicle charging applications, AFC has shown that it is not only prepared to take a leading role in solving the challenges of new electricity demand, but that it is prepared to do so in a truly zero-emission manner.
