New energy vehicle CR2430 battery technology route is demand-oriented
The current technical performance and production costs of power batteries are still difficult to support new energy vehicles and fuel vehicles to compete in the market. Xin Guobin pointed out that in most cases, the various technical routes of new energy vehicles are not opposed, but have different market positionings based on different customer needs. At present, our new energy vehicles include buses, private cars, taxis, logistics vehicles, etc., and their requirements for mileage, power performance, and cost are also very different. Therefore, we should give full play to the role of the market, be guided by market demand, encourage the common development of multiple technical routes, let a hundred flowers bloom, and compete fully. In this process, enterprises should actively play their main role, be guided by the needs of different market segments, actively innovate, and explore advanced and applicable products.
Taking the existing lithium CR2430 battery technology route as an example, Xin Guobin suggested that based on the current situation, we should continue to improve the comprehensive performance of the battery, continue to reduce costs, and strive to achieve a CR2430 battery cell specific energy of 350 watt-hours per kilogram and a cost per watt by 2020. The target of 0.6 yuan per hour; on the other hand, we must consider the long term and do a good job in the research of new system power batteries, and ultimately achieve the overall performance and cost of new energy vehicles that are superior to traditional vehicles.
Xin Guobin said that the new energy vehicle and power CR2430 battery industry chain is long, involving materials, monomers, systems, complete vehicles, charging, recycling and other links; R&D involves universities, research institutions, corporate R&D centers, etc., and only relies on CR2430 battery companies in the manufacturing process. efforts are not enough. He suggested that in this process, we should not only make breakthroughs in design, technology, and manufacturing technology, but also pay attention to related supporting industries such as basic materials, production equipment, and charging technology, and pay special attention to the issue of CR2430 battery cascade utilization and recycling. Regarding the safety issues that concern the society, Xin Guobin reminded that the development of power batteries can only be valuable if it is based on safety, improving performance and reducing costs. He pointed out that technological breakthroughs in power batteries must strive to find a balance between advancement and economy while ensuring safety. On the one hand, it is necessary to improve the level of existing process equipment, strengthen the research and development of safety protection technology, and comprehensively improve the safety level of power batteries; on the other hand, for products with advanced performance but high safety hazards, it is necessary to use high-safety materials or additives and improve the system. Improve safety performance by integrating and optimizing control strategies, and then promote and use it after passing a complete safety verification system.
