Lead Intelligent and European 18650 battery lithium ion 2200mah R&D and Processing Company Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

From photovoltaics and lithium-ion batteries to fuel power batteries and automobile production lines, Lead Intelligent has once again expanded its equipment business across categories.

On June 24, Lead Intelligent announced that it had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with blueWorld Technologies, a European fuel power battery R&D and processing company. As an important equipment supplier for blueWorld Technologies, Lead Intelligent will help blueWorld Technologies realize the construction of a processing base project with an annual output of 50,000 fuel power battery systems.

It is reported that the project is located in Aalborg Port, Denmark, and will be officially launched in September this year. The plant area is 5285m2 and is scheduled to be officially put into production in the second quarter of 2020, when the output will be gradually expanded. After the completion of the blueWorld Technologies fuel power battery processing base, it will be the largest methanol reforming fuel power battery plant in Europe.

According to public information, blueWorld Technologies is headquartered in Denmark and completed its first round of financing in early 2019 (investors include my country's smart electric vehicle company Ai Chi Automobile). Its three founders are rich in fuel cell industry resources, with work backgrounds in Ballard (battery systems) and SerEnergy (proton exchange membranes). The CTO has 9 patents (different families) and 14 public publications in the field of fuel cells, and has a deep technical background.

The fuel cell processing line of blueWorld Technologies includes the processing of proton exchange membranes, electrodes and bipolar plates, the assembly of battery stacks, and platform detection. The plant will be a highly automated and intelligent processing base, which will ensure that blueWorld Technologies can efficiently and scale up the processing of high-quality fuel cell systems.

The efficient methanol reforming fuel cell system developed by blueWorld Technologies can be used in multiple fields. At present, blueWorld Technologies focuses on realizing the use of its methanol fuel cell in automobiles. The fuel cell system is equivalent to the range extender of the car. The methanol fuel cell system developed by blueWorld Technologies combines a smaller battery module with a methanol fuel cell system. Its use in automobiles will maintain the existing advantages of electric vehicles while helping electric vehicles gain the advantages of traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, such as a range of more than 1,000 kilometers and fast refueling.

It is worth noting that with the development of blueWorld Technologies, the company plans to transfer R&D and processing activities to important market countries, including my country, in the near future, so as to optimize the allocation of supply chain resources and be closer to Chinese customers geographically.
