1. Discussion on key technologies of portable UPS
1. Parallel technology
In some situations, portable UPS must be connected in parallel to achieve the required capacity. The core of parallel technology is the current sharing problem of each parallel part. The amplitude of the output voltage of each inverter must be equal;

(1) Inverter of power frequency machine
The advantage of this inverter structure is that it provides users with a truly isolated power supply, has harmonic suppression, and can improve the overload capacity of single-phase loads; the disadvantage is that the output three-phase voltages are coupled to each other and cannot be independently controlled and the device is large in size.
(2) Inverter of high frequency machine
The advantage of the high-frequency inverter is that the output voltage can be controlled independently and the device is small in size; its disadvantage is that the input and output are not isolated, resulting in poor reliability and safety, and the output voltage has a certain DC component.
(3) New online interactive technology
This kind of inverter has the advantages and disadvantages of high frequency inverter.
(4) Four-arm conversion technology
This technology is under research. It can independently control the output three-phase voltage, but its control model moves within a polyhedron and the algorithm is complex.
3. Rectification technology
In recent years, portable UPS has adopted high-frequency rectification technology using IGBT. Since these circuit structures can continuously use various new digital control methods, its power factor can reach more than 0.99 and the harmonic current is less than 3%.
