　　According to foreign media reports, StoreDot, a startup company headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a company dedicated to developing electric vehicle batteries. The company's chief operating officer Erez Lorber recently said that the electric vehicle battery developed by his company can be completed in just 5 minutes. Charge. Lorber also added that the company’s team of scientists and engineers is working hard to make fast-charging batteries operate efficiently and safely, and the results are expected to be seen as early as 2021.

　　Founded in 2012 and headquartered in the Tel Aviv-area city of Herzliya, StoreDot has raised $158 million to date, according to Pitchbook. Its investors include Tokyo-based TDK Corporation and German automaker Daimler AG.

　　In addition, in May this year, British Petroleum (BP) said that its venture capital company BP Ventures also invested US$20 million in StoreDot, hoping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in operations. Tufan Erginbilgic, chief executive of BP's downstream business, said in a statement, "Ultra-fast charging is at the core of BP's electrification strategy, and StoreDot's technology shows that a car can be charged in about the same time as a tank of gas."
