The full name of this technical report is: LiDFOB/LiBF4 liquid electrolyte anodeless lithium metal battery research report. The core information shows that many previous studies are not optimistic about the next stage of lithium metal batteries, believing that the traditional liquid electrolytes used in batteries must be replaced by solid electrolytes to maintain the lifespan and high energy density required for long-term stable cycles. However, in the latest experiments, it was found that an anode-free lithium metal battery using LiDFOB/LiBF4 liquid electrolyte can still retain 80% of the battery capacity and have high stability after 90 charge and discharge cycles, and its energy density is not the same.
