1. Check to disconnect the UPS mains input circuit breaker and discharge the UPS. The load during discharge should not exceed 60% of the total load of the UPS;
2. After switching to the battery pack for power supply, the discharge time is determined according to the length of battery power supply (generally the battery pack discharges for 30 minutes to 1 hour);
3. Check the inverter output light and LCD screen display on the front panel of the backup UPS;
4. Measure the UPS output voltage and battery pack voltage;
5. After the host discharges and alarms, close the UPS mains input circuit breaker, and then observe whether the UPS is running normally.
Note: For normal use of the UPS power supply, it is best to discharge it once every three months to six months. Failure to discharge it for a long time may easily cause battery damage. Under normal circumstances, discharging the backup UPS power supply every three months can not only ensure the service life of the UPS battery, but also ensure the longest use of its backup time. 6. If it is a high-power UPS power supply, generally the rectifier and bypass input switch are designed independently.
