　　Recently, Texas Instruments (TI) announced that it will display the world's first preview version of a button battery for the new Bluetooth low energy open standard at the Bluetooth Low Energy Technology Conference in Munich, Germany. The product uses TI's upcoming CC2540 single-mode on-chip system. Bluetooth Low Energy technology supports a variety of applications including sports and fitness equipment, healthcare, home or office, and mobile accessories, enabling the use of coin cell batteries and energy harvesting solutions.
