The results show that the durability of the on-board CR1225 battery is improved by 11.8 times, 4.8 times and 6.9 times respectively in urban road, highway and city-highway combined driving. The CR1225 battery durability is improved because the average power demand during real-time driving is only a small fraction of the maximum power that the FC-PHEV can provide, and the significantly improved durability can reduce the transitional design of the CR1225 battery, thereby reducing costs.
