Who is the future of electric vehicles? Lithium iron phosphate battery or ternary lithium battery?
In the early days, most electric vehicles used lithium iron phosphate batteries. However, later on, with the subsidy policy being linked to battery energy density, coupled with user requirements for pure electric driving range and the development of ternary lithium battery skills, most new energy vehicle models on the market are now equipped with ternary lithium batteries.
In an era where pure electric range and battery energy density have become the two core goals affecting subsidies, blindly pursuing subsidies has actually caused many products with immature skills to sacrifice safety for higher energy density.
