The three-year Action Plan for Winning the Battle of  the Blue Sky proposes that by 2020, the production and sales of new energy  vehicles in China will reach 2 million, which also means that the annual growth  rate of production and sales of new energy vehicles in China will exceed 30% in  the next two years. It is conservatively estimated that each vehicle needs 50KWh  of batteries and 0.01-0.02 square meters of battery separators per Wh of  batteries. In 2018, China's new energy vehicles alone will need 5-10 billion  square meters of lithium battery separators, while by 2020, it will need 1-2  billion square meters of lithium battery separators. The growth potential of  lithium battery separators is amazing.

　　However, because the production process of the diaphragm has a high  technical barrier, its cost accounts for 10% - 20% of the cost of lithium ion  batteries, and its gross profit rate can reach 50% - 60%. It is the product with  the highest gross profit rate among the four major materials.
