　　Health hazard: toxic and corrosive hydrogen fluoride is produced in humid air. This product has a strong irritating effect on skin, eyes and mucous membrane, and can cause respiratory tract inflammation and pulmonary edema after inhalation.

　　2、 Toxicological data and environmental behavior

　　Toxicity: Irritating.

　　Hazard characteristics: white corrosive and irritating hydrogen fluoride smoke is generated in humid air. It decomposes in water and emits highly toxic corrosive gas. It decomposes when encountering alkali.

　　Combustion (decomposition) products: phosphorus oxide, phosphine, hydrogen fluoride.

　　1、 Leakage emergency treatment

　　Evacuate the personnel in the contaminated area to the windward place quickly, and isolate them immediately. In case of small leakage, isolate them for 300 meters, and in case of large leakage, isolate them for 450 meters, and strictly restrict access. It is recommended that emergency treatment personnel wear self-contained positive pressure respirators and gas protective clothing. Cut off the source of leakage as much as possible. Provide reasonable ventilation to accelerate diffusion. Leaking containers shall be properly treated and reused after repair and inspection.

　　2、 Protective measures

　　Respiratory system protection: Self inhalation filter type gas mask (full face mask) must be worn when contacting with its vapor. If necessary, wear an air respirator.

　　Eye protection: the respiratory system has been protected.

　　Body protection: wear adhesive tape protective clothing.

　　Hand protection: wear rubber gloves.

　　Others: Smoking is strictly prohibited at the work site. Pay attention to personal hygiene.

　　3、 First aid measures

　　Skin contact: Take off the contaminated clothes and wash with plenty of flowing water. Get medical attention.

　　Eye contact: lift the eyelids and wash them with flowing water or normal saline. Get medical attention.

　　Inhalation: quickly leave the site to a place with fresh air. Keep the respiratory tract unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, perform artificial respiration immediately. Get medical attention.

　　Fire fighting method: firefighters must wear full body fire and gas protective clothing. Cut off the air supply. Spray water to cool the container, and move the container from the fire site to an open place if possible. Extinguishing agent: dry powder, carbon dioxide.
