　　1. Reasons for expansion of polymer lithium battery

　　Poor packaging: air and water enter the inner part of the cell during the manufacturing process, causing the electrolyte to decompose and produce gas.

　　The water content of the cell exceeds the standard: during the process, once the water content exceeds the standard, the electrolyte will fail and produce gas.

　　Corrosion: the polymer soft coated lithium battery cell is corroded, and the aluminum layer is consumed by reaction, thus losing the barrier effect on water and causing gas expansion.

　　Surface damage: It is damaged by external force, and the water will enter the core due to puncture. When lithium metal is exposed to the air, it will react violently with oxygen.

　　Overcharge and overdischarge: When the polymer soft battery is overcharged or overdischarged, and the protection plate is abnormal, the battery cell will be seriously inflated.

　　2. Repair and use of expanded battery

　　If the cell phone battery has been charged and bulged, use your fingers to find the gap between the batteries, and use the pointer to poke a small hole to let the air inside escape.
