Manganese compounds, Nickel compounds, lithium cobalate and Lithium hydroxide are mainly used as raw materials to obtain precursors with good combination of lithium, manganese, cobalt and nickel through hydrothermal reaction, and then the precursors are supplemented with lithium sources and ground to obtain precursors, which are calcined to obtain lithium nickel cobalt manganate. With the increasing scarcity of global resources and environmental pressure, battery materials must take the path of fixed cycle. Bangpu Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully invented a method for directional circulation of nickel cobalt lithium manganese oxide from waste lithium-ion batteries. Its main characteristics are as follows: after the waste lithium-ion batteries are pretreated by disassembly, sorting, crushing, screening, etc., high temperature adhesive removal, sodium hydroxide aluminum removal and other processes are used, sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide system is used for leaching, P204 extraction is used for impurity removal, to obtain pure nickel, cobalt and manganese solutions, and appropriate Manganese(II) sulfate, Nickel(II) sulfate or Cobalt(II) sulfate are added to adjust the molar ratio of nickel, cobalt and manganese elements; Subsequently, Ammonium carbonate was used to adjust the PH value to form a nickel cobalt manganese carbonate precursor, then appropriate Lithium carbonate was added, and lithium nickel cobalt manganate was synthesized by high-temperature sintering. This method has a simple process flow, low raw material prices, and high product added value. This provides a new approach for the resource utilization industry of waste batteries and the production of nickel cobalt lithium manganese oxide.
