1. Large capacity lithium batteries have higher energy consumption. It has a high storage energy density, currently reaching 460-600Wh/kg, which is about 6-7 times that of lead-acid batteries;
2. Large capacity lithium batteries have a long service life, with a service life of over 6 years. The battery with lithium ferrous phosphate as the positive electrode has a 1C (100% DOD) charge and discharge capacity, with a record of being able to be used 10000 times;
3. The rated voltage of large capacity lithium batteries is high (with a single working voltage of 3.7V or 3.2V), which is approximately equal to the series voltage of three nickel cadmium or nickel hydrogen rechargeable batteries, making it easy to form a battery power pack;
4. Equipped with high power endurance, the lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion battery used in electric vehicles can reach a charging and discharging capacity of 15-30C, facilitating high-intensity starting acceleration;

Analysis of adverse issues that may occur during the winding process of 18650 lithium batteries
1. Purpose: To prevent positive and negative electrodes from absorbing water during the winding process, resulting in zero voltage difference, self discharge, and poor cycling performance;
Method: Calculate the dew point value and temperature value to obtain the temperature and humidity values.
2. Dust prevention ≤ 100000pc/ft3 (particle size 0.5um)
Purpose: To prevent pole group dust from causing short circuits, overheating, ignition, self discharge, and other phenomena during the winding process.
Method: Use a dust tester.
3. Abnormal reduction of burrs
Process requirements: pole piece ≤ 8 mm; Ear burrs ≤ 12 mm; Test method: 1. Computer powered cells are randomly selected to be the first to check the positive and negative electrodes of each machine at each transition, before and after burr cutting, and the positive and negative electrodes of the ear according to the operation instructions for burr detection.
Adverse reactions: Burrs on the electrode plate or ear exceeding technical requirements may cause perforation of the diaphragm, short circuit between positive and negative electrodes, overheating of the battery, serious explosion, and serious safety hazards.
4. Detect adverse reactions after calibration
Exceeding the specification for process alignment may result in the negative electrode not including the positive electrode plate. During the battery process, lithium ions cannot find the corresponding graphite to embed into the positive electrode, resulting in the formation of dendrites in the positive electrode of the free lithium battery. The dendrites pierce the separator and cause internal short circuits, posing a safety hazard.
If the alignment between the negative plate and the diaphragm exceeds the technical standards, it may cause compression deformation of the negative plate. During the charging process, some of the anode material on the electrode plate falls off, causing the battery to expand.
5. Differences in coverage testing methods
The length of the outer negative super positive material and the inner negative super positive material in the direction of the winding pole: every 2 hours, each winding machine samples and tests the core structure of three personal computers, and measures them in two different dimensions with the eyepiece and ruler.
