　　According to foreign media reports, the American company Gore recently announced the launch of a new technology - Gore battery pack low-pressure vent, which can be used to design batteries for pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (BEV/PHEV) in the future. Provides flexibility when grouping. Gore's low-pressure vents provide greater freedom in battery pack design by solving problems inherent in lithium-ion battery components and battery packs.

　　Automotive battery packs usually require a lot of space to package battery components, which also makes the battery pack larger in size and weight. The newly launched Gore battery low-voltage vent technology allows the next generation of battery packs to reduce size, weight and cost. .

　　Gore's battery pack low-pressure vent technology integrates three important protection functions into one product. The new vent has a flexible membrane to support lower opening pressures, and is designed with an overpressure bypass function that can reverse overpressure, ensuring that the battery's pressure differential can be quickly released under normal and severe operating conditions, otherwise lightweight The battery case will deform and even cause sealing failure. This feature is therefore able to effectively manage overpressure conditions associated with thermal runaway of individual cells or battery modules. The reliability and durability of Gore's battery pack low-pressure vent technology promotes cell pressure balancing and provides critical protection from water, dirt and dust intrusion into the battery.
