Fei Weiyang said that in recent years, the key technologies of "pure electric drive" have made rapid progress, and the core technologies of electric vehicles represented by lithium-ion power batteries have made major breakthroughs, but the large-scale application of lithium batteries will also lead to a large number of retired lithium-ion batteries. "The random discarding of retired lithium batteries not only causes environmental pollution, but also causes waste of resources, which is unsustainable development."
"From the perspective of recycling and utilization of battery materials, we are still doing it in a relatively extensive way." Fei Weiyang gave an example, saying that there are many recycling companies now, which are very small in scale and have very simple recycling methods, resulting in low effective resource recovery rates and serious pollution. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the research and development of advanced technologies for lithium 3400mah 3.7v 18650 battery to achieve safe and efficient disassembly and integrated recycling of valuable metals to avoid secondary pollution.
"To truly recycle lithium batteries, we need a good combination of chemistry, chemical engineering, technology, equipment, control, management and other aspects." He suggested that some large battery factories should take the lead in conducting systematic research on the disassembly and extraction processes of different types of lithium batteries.
