Laptop battery calibration

　　The shorter battery life of the laptop is due to the misjudgment of the battery level by the laptop BIOS system during multiple charging and discharging processes. In this case, we can use the "battery calibration" method to fully utilize the remaining battery power of the laptop. Below are two methods to calibrate laptop batteries.

　　Standard calibration method: using the battery calibration function in laptop BIOS

　　Many brands of laptops have integrated a battery calibration program in their BIOS, commonly known as "Battery Calibration," which means "battery level calibration.". Directly entering this BIOS can complete the battery calibration operation.

　　1. Turn on the computer and press F2 to enter the BIOS menu after the startup screen appears; Use the left and right arrow keys to select and enter the Power menu.

　　2. Enter the Power menu and you will see the "Start Battery Calibration" option. Select it and press Enter to execute.

　　3. At this point, the screen will turn blue and there will be an English prompt asking to plug in the laptop's power adapter to charge the battery. After the battery is fully charged, the screen prompts the user to disconnect the power adapter. Afterwards, the laptop began to continuously discharge the battery until it was fully charged.

　　4. This process takes some time. After the battery runs out and automatically shuts down, connect the power adapter to charge the battery, but do not turn it on. The battery calibration process is considered complete only after the charging is completed (the charging indicator light goes off).
