Power batteries are the power sources that provide power for tools. Based on the characteristics, requirements, and application fields of power batteries, the development of power batteries has gone through the following four stages
(1) Lead acid batteries are mainly divided into several categories: open end, maintenance free, glass fiber partition adsorption valve controlled sealing (AGM), valve controlled adhesive type, etc. Their main advantages are abundant resources, low price, good current charging and discharging performance, high battery recovery rate, and the disadvantage is that the main materials contain lead elements that are polluting to the environment and have a low mass to energy ratio
(2) Alkaline batteries, such as Cd Ni batteries and MH Ni batteries. Due to cadmium being toxic and not conducive to environmental protection, Cd Ni batteries have been banned from use in power batteries in accordance with the EU's requirements for reducing harmful substances (ROHS).
