Among them, Wang Fengying, President of Great Wall Motors, Tan Minqiang, Deputy Chief Engineer of Dongfeng Motor, Chen Zhixin, President of SAIC Group, and Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Automobile, all suggested promoting the development of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., believes that hydrogen fuel, as a zero-emission, pollution-free new energy, is an inevitable choice for the country to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction and promote the development of the automotive industry.
Wang Fengying, Vice Chairman and President of Great Wall Motors, said that the current construction of hydrogen energy infrastructure in my country, especially the construction of hydrogen refueling stations, is extremely slow, which has seriously affected the development of domestic fuel cell vehicles.
Many car companies have suggested promoting hydrogen 4LR44 battery, which has never happened before.
Who exactly is this hydrogen fuel cell?
Will hydrogen fuel be the ultimate solution?
In theory, hydrogen fuel itself is a truly zero-emission, pollution-free resource, and can be obtained through a variety of means such as the decomposition of water molecules, so the reserves are huge, unlike the scarce reserves of lithium batteries.
At the same time, hydrogen 4LR44 battery combine the advantages of gasoline vehicles' high energy ratio, charge-and-go, and high energy conversion efficiency that exceeds energy storage batteries. In actual application, hydrogen fuel can reach 500 kilometers after 5 minutes of hydrogen filling, which is several blocks away from new energy vehicles.
Therefore, hydrogen 4LR44 battery can be said to be the most ideal solution at present.
The shackles tied to hydrogen 4LR44 battery
Since hydrogen 4LR44 battery have so many advantages, why are hydrogen fuel cell vehicles not popular yet?
Mainly due to the high cost of hydrogen 4LR44 battery, they cannot be commercialized at this stage. The catalyst platinum in 4LR44 battery has low production and high price, almost twice that of gold. Moreover, the catalyst may pollute the purity of hydrogen, which is not conducive to the supply of hydrogen.
In addition, the cost of building a hydrogen refueling station is also very high. Similar to the energy supporting facilities of traditional fuel vehicles, hydrogen 4LR44 battery also require a complete set of hydrogen energy production and transportation networks as support, and the cost of infrastructure construction is even higher.
Data shows that it costs more than 10 million yuan to build a hydrogen refueling station with a hydrogen refueling capacity of more than 200 kilograms. These are important reasons that hinder the large-scale commercial use of hydrogen 4LR44 battery.
The future of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles is promising
At present, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles have entered the market introduction stage internationally. The U.S. Department of Energy has issued the USA Hydrogen Energy Infrastructure Plan, and Japan has clearly proposed to move towards a "hydrogen society" and is committed to promoting the commercialization of hydrogen energy power generation.
However, the relevant supporting testing and inspection institutions for hydrogen 4LR44 battery in my country are still not perfect, and the development of the hydrogen fuel industry is relatively slow and uneven.

Yin Tongyue also hopes that the country will make overall planning and upgrade hydrogen energy to the national development strategy level. The state will coordinate and plan to upgrade hydrogen energy from a national development priority to a national development strategy, do a good job in top-level design, and promote the healthy development of the hydrogen energy industry.
According to E-Car, Chery has already taken the lead in hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Chery has completed the development of 12-meter fuel cell buses and fuel cell logistics vehicles, which will soon be put into operation in cities such as Wuhu. In addition, Chery has also developed four generations of fuel cell vehicles.
As the development of hydrogen energy vehicles enters a mature stage, and with the support and promotion of the helmsmen of major automakers, the shackles tied to hydrogen 4LR44 battery will eventually be untied, and my country's hydrogen fuel cell production will usher in an explosive growth period.
