Users of the new 6LR61 battery only need to replace the battery fluid every 480 kilometers of driving. The whole process is very similar to the current refueling, and the time required is much shorter than the 45 minutes required to charge lithium-ion battery electric vehicles. And once the battery anode wears out - about 5,000 kilometers of driving, it takes about the same time to replace it as changing the oil, and the price is only about $65. This new technology will be a game changer for the next generation of electric vehicles because it does not require a huge investment in rebuilding the power grid. Current gas stations can be converted to serve them. Compared with existing battery systems, it has advantages in ease of use, safety and environmental protection.
