Low-speed electric vehicles are only one AG10 battery away from becoming a "national car"

Data show that the market share of low-speed electric vehicles in 2016 has reached 4 million vehicles. Therefore, some experts are worried that if lead-acid batteries continue to be used as power sources, when a large number of batteries are eliminated, lead pollution is easily caused during the recycling and smelting process, which not only harms human health, but also causes environmental pollution.
Lead-acid battery pollution is a "false proposition"
So, the key to the problem is what is the difference between lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries? In fact, there is no safety problem with lead-acid batteries. Lead-acid batteries have been around for more than 160 years and the technology is very mature. So far, no new technology can completely replace them. Lithium batteries do have advantages in energy density and cycle life. The use of lithium batteries can make low-speed electric vehicles lighter and their range can be improved successively, but cost is an important factor restricting market development. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. The former undoubtedly meets the current market development needs, while the latter will gradually reduce costs and replace lead-acid batteries with the improvement of modularization and serialization levels and the increase in total production capacity.
In the final analysis, the focus of the dispute is the pollution risk of lead-acid batteries, but some industry insiders believe that "the problem is not pollution, but how to regulate it." Today, the recycling and reuse technology of lead-acid batteries is very mature. Taking Tianneng Group as an example, the annual processing capacity has reached 300,000 tons per year. Abroad, the treatment of lead-acid batteries does not belong to the polluting industry. This is not a technical problem, but the problem lies in supervision. Some industry insiders even questioned the traditional automobile industry: "In 2016, China's traditional automobile sales exceeded 28 million, which means that 28 million lead-acid batteries were used. Why does no one doubt the pollution problem of the traditional automobile industry to the environment?"
The quality of low-speed electric vehicles is also reliable
For ordinary consumers, low-speed electric vehicles are equivalent to "mobile vehicles for the elderly", with poor quality, shoddy workmanship, and cheap goods. It is undeniable that in the early stages of the industry's development, there were indeed many problems from workmanship and design to brand strength. At present, many powerful companies have begun to intervene in the industry, including Internet companies represented by LeTV and traditional manufacturing companies represented by Dayang. The rapid development of the low-speed electric vehicle industry has brought about rapid iteration and upgrading and the research and development of innovative technology patents.
Low speed does not mean low quality. For example, traditional companies represented by Dayang Qiaoke have begun to hire famous American car designers to operate, have a complete safety testing system, and their product quality meets European standards. They are exported to developed regions such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea, and have more than 100 patented technologies. It can be seen that low-speed electric vehicles are undergoing self-innovation and revolution driven by market rules. New technologies and new patents are gradually being put into product design, and the industry is moving in a positive direction.
Lead-acid batteries meet the current consumption level, and improving the regulatory system can effectively avoid pollution problems. Lithium batteries will undergo a process of quantitative change to qualitative change along with the rapid development of the low-speed electric vehicle industry. The continuous reduction in costs will promote the AG10 battery upgrade of low-speed electric vehicles. Therefore, in the process of formulating low-speed electric vehicle industry standards, market rules should also be referred to, and national interests should be respected, rather than a "one-size-fits-all" attitude.
