As a major development direction of new energy vehicles, electric vehicles have unique advantages in energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection, but they encounter the embarrassment of difficulty in charging.
In order to solve the problem of incomplete supporting facilities for new energy vehicles, especially electric vehicles, in my country. Recently, the General Office of the State Council issued the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure" (referred to as the "Opinions") to accelerate the construction of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Add another important piece of firewood to the growing popularity of new energy vehicles.
The "Opinions" put forward rigid requirements - 100% of newly built residential parking spaces should be equipped with charging facilities or reserved for construction and installation, and large public buildings should be equipped with parking lots and social public parking lots should be equipped with charging facilities or reserved for construction and installation. The proportion of qualified parking spaces shall not be less than 10%, and at least one public charging station shall be built for every 2,000 electric vehicles. Encourage the construction of integrated mechanical and three-dimensional parking and charging facilities that take up less space, are low-cost and have quick results.
In terms of construction goals, the "Opinions" propose that by 2020, a charging infrastructure system that is moderately advanced, equipped with vehicle piles, intelligent and efficient will be basically built to meet the charging needs of more than 5 million electric vehicles; and relatively complete standards and specifications will be established. Market supervision system to form a unified, open, competitive and orderly charging service market.
Lack of charging facilities has become a bottleneck in the promotion of new energy vehicles
In recent years, the application of new energy vehicles in my country has gradually advanced. As of the end of last year, the number of new energy vehicles in my country had exceeded 120,000. In the first half of this year, my country produced a total of 76,223 new energy vehicles and sold 72,711 vehicles, an increase of 2.5 times and 2.4 times respectively year-on-year.
Charging facilities for new energy vehicles can be mainly divided into centralized charging stations and charging piles. Wu Hui, general manager of CCID Consulting's New Energy Vehicle Industry Research Center, said: Centralized charging stations are similar to gas stations for ordinary cars and require land resources. The charging pile is like an electric socket. One end is connected to the power supply and the other end is connected to the electric vehicle to charge the car. It does not need to occupy a lot of land. It can be used on existing land in parking lots of residential communities, shopping malls, subway stations, hotels, etc. It can be installed, very convenient. Most foreign countries adopt the charging pile model and arrange charging piles in their own apartments, shopping malls, supermarkets, subways, hotels, etc. Most foreign electric vehicles are charged at their own charging piles, and only in emergencies are they charged at public fast charging stations. However, because many domestic car owners do not have the conditions to install personal charging piles, they may rely more on public charging stations and charging piles for charging.
However, compared with the hundreds of thousands of gas stations dotted across the country, there are indeed very few charging facilities for electric vehicles in my country. According to data released by the National Energy Administration, as of the end of last year, my country had built 780 charging and swapping stations and 31,000 AC and DC charging piles. With new energy vehicles entering thousands of households, the relative lack of charging facilities has become more prominent. Overall, the speed of construction is relatively lagging and has become one of the shortcomings or bottlenecks in the promotion and application of new energy vehicles. Zheng Shajie, deputy director of the National Energy Administration, said.
