"In recent years, power battery companies have almost changed their requirements for battery energy density and battery comprehensive performance every year, which has put forward higher requirements for battery production lines. Changes in battery product structure and formula will pose greater challenges to liquid injection absorption, which will cause the operating efficiency of conventional liquid injection machines to decrease." For the early proofing verification of customers, the key fixtures are pre-produced in small batches to optimize the life and verify the stability indicators.

At the same time, Longhe Technology also draws on cross-industry references, absorbs mature experience from other industries, improves the three major technical levels, and puts forward the following points in the realization of the whole line structure:

 

1. Use standard function module development and special process module non-standard development as the underlying elements to improve stability;

 

2. Use distributed and scalable layout ideas as the overall line construction framework, and increase the use of 4-axis robots to cope with the cost and cycle of customers' later process and efficiency changes;

 

3. Set up a "process adjustment ring" on the assembly line, compatible with: 2-pole core and 4-pole core processes, lamination and winding processes (butterfly welding processes), multi-pole ears and full-pole ears processes;

 

4. Benchmarking the high-end standards of Japanese and Korean customers, we took the lead in proposing a clean target of 1,000 levels. Many achievements have been patented and applied in the latest generation of products.

 

At the same time, in order to help customers improve the volume capacity ratio and weight capacity ratio of battery cells, Longhe Technology took the lead in the industry to develop a combined process supporting machine model of ultrasonic pressing and laser welding, eliminating the "connector", thereby solving the problems of unstable ultrasonic welding before shell entry, ultrasonic dust and laser melting beads splashing, and successfully launched it to the market, which received positive feedback from customers.

 

In the liquid injection process, Longhe Technology adopts a high pressure process of 0.4-0.8Mpa for liquid injection, which greatly reduces the transformation cost caused by the difficulty of liquid absorption due to formula adjustment, and greatly shortens the equipment transformation cycle. At the same time, the liquid injection accuracy is also greatly improved compared with traditional liquid injection machines.

 

With product and technical advantages, the above products have been successfully applied on a large scale in many domestic mainstream battery companies such as Guoxuan High-tech, Xingheng Power Supply, and Haisida, and have played a significant role in helping companies improve product efficiency and reduce costs.

 

According to Battery China, in 2017, Longhe Technology successfully introduced the international IPD integrated R&D platform and the automotive industry IATF quality management system to enhance the company's overall strength. The assembly segment series products it provides have international product competitiveness.

 

The above-mentioned technical director also said that with the gradual stabilization and improvement of battery product structure and process, the functional unit has been basically finalized after multiple iterations and upgrades. With the increasing investment scale of power battery companies, simply stacking the current 12ppm single battery assembly line will bring a large plant construction cost, and the later operation cost investment is also very high. The 30-50PPm high-speed battery assembly line will become an important direction for the development of subsequent equipment.

 

Aiming at this trend, Longhe Technology has completed the preliminary design of the high-speed line and will launch a new generation of high-speed battery assembly line in 2019. As for the injection machine link, the injection process is relatively stable compared to the complex and changeable assembly process, but the injection difficulty will rise with the increase of battery energy density, so the technology of improving the injection efficiency by improving the injection temperature and increasing the positive and negative pressure breathing pressure difference will become a development trend. So far, Longhe Technology has completed the research and development of key technologies such as electrolyte temperature control, and the design and development of a new generation of temperature-controlled high-pressure injection machines will be completed in late October this year. In addition, Longhe Technology has also made forward-looking judgments and technical reserves in advance for the future development trend of square power battery assembly.
