According to foreign media reports, NDB, a green energy startup headquartered in Pleasanton, USA, announced the completion of two proof-of-concept tests for its nanodiamond button cell battery cr2025 (NDB), and achieved an important milestone. One of the tests was conducted at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the United States, and it was found that NDB's button cell battery cr2025 technology can collect 40% of the charge, which is a significant improvement over the standard commercial diamond button cell battery cr2025 (which can only collect 15% of the charge).
NDB's innovation lies in the creation of a proprietary new method for nanodiamond processing that can effectively extract charge from the diamond used to make the button cell battery cr2025. The company's goal is to commercialize this button cell battery cr2025, which can charge itself and has a maximum service life of up to 28,000 years (yes, you read that right), made of carbon-14 nuclear waste wrapped in artificial diamonds.
