By virtue of the characteristics of ultraviolet light, organic gas molecules are excited by ultraviolet light in the ionization chamber, and the excited organic gas molecules are ionized into particles with positive and negative charges. Under the effect of the electric field of the polarization plate, the charged particles hit the plate, forming a weak current that can be detected. The micro current signal generated by the movement of these particles is amplified by the amplifier. The ionization voltage is collected and converted into a digital display. The value reflects the molar content of the organic gas in the environment, generally in PPb and PPm.
