1. The construction personnel bring the installation and testing tools and arrive at the computer room construction site.
2. Check to confirm that the sleeve handle and wrench handle are well insulated.
3. Plug the generator output line into the backup power industrial connector, start the generator, and let the generator run first.
4. Open the battery cabinet and take photos for backup. Find the output cable connected to the UPS host and confirm the positive and negative poles.
5. Confirm that the generator is running stably. After measuring the normal voltage at the input end of the transfer switch in the distribution cabinet, switch the switch to the generator side, observe and confirm that the UPS host is running normally, and disconnect the battery circuit breaker in the battery cabinet.
6. Remove the old battery. Remove the battery from top to bottom on the battery rack. Remove one screw and wrap the connecting wire connector with electrical tape to insulate it well (this step is very important, don’t be lazy) to prevent it from being damaged. 7. Remove all batteries, place them in place, and start installing new batteries.
8. Start from 1# according to the battery number, and start installation from the bottom layer of the battery rack. The position and direction are the same as before. The connector screws must be tightened, the connecting wires are neat, and the curvature is consistent. There must be appropriate gaps between batteries, and strict precautions must be taken during the connection process. short circuit.
9. After installing the battery, confirm that the positive and negative poles are correct, measure the total voltage, and confirm that the battery is installed and connected correctly.
10. Calculate the charging voltage based on the battery parameters, and measure the UPS output charging voltage, which meets the charging requirements of this batch of batteries. Close the battery cabinet and check the host charging menu. The battery is already charging.
11. Install the battery cabinet, switch the input of the UPS host back to the mains power, and confirm that the input and output voltage of the UPS uninterruptible power supply host is normal. Stop the generator, disconnect the connecting wires, pack the tools, load the old battery into the truck for transportation back, and clean up the site.
UPS battery power time calculation
The battery power supply time is mainly affected by factors such as load size, battery capacity, ambient temperature, and battery discharge cut-off voltage. First, there are currently two main ways to extend the power supply time of UPS uninterruptible power supply systems: external large-capacity battery packs, and external battery packs of corresponding capacity can be connected according to the required power supply time. Choosing a UPS power system with a larger capacity can not only reduce maintenance costs. Once the load equipment is expanded, the larger-capacity uninterruptible power supply system can still operate immediately.
Second, when switching on and off the UPS uninterruptible power supply system, the relevant skills must also be clarified. When starting up the machine for the first time, the switches should be closed in the corresponding sequence. The energy storage battery switch, automatic bypass switch, and output switch are set to the "ON" state in sequence. Press the "On" button on the UPS startup panel, and the UPS power supply system will start in sequence. The "Inverter" indicator light will light up.
