Many people are puzzled about the lifespan of lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles. How long can a set of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles last? The lifespan of lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles is 3-5 years, and lithium-ion batteries have strict charging cycles, usually around 1000-1200 times. However, lithium-ion batteries and lead-acid batteries are completely opposite in terms of charging. The cycle life of lithium-ion batteries is indeed higher than that of lead-acid batteries, but lithium-ion batteries have higher requirements for charging and are more accurate. If lithium-ion batteries are used improperly or not properly maintained, it is very likely to shorten the lifespan of lithium-ion batteries. Lithium iron phosphate batteries have high safety and long cycle life, as well as high charging and discharging rates, which means fast charging speed and good acceleration performance.
