There are two main reasons: one is that the technology cannot keep up, and the overall technological changes in the industry are relatively fast; the second is the differentiation and reshuffle of battery companies. In terms of market development, Nord shares said that the company's largest customer has switched to CATL in June and July, and the Huizhou factory has begun to supply LG Chem in small batches and will soon come to Qinghai for factory inspection; Panasonic's factory inspection has been ongoing, and Tesla has also inspected the company's factory. The progress needs to be accelerated and the factory inspection may be carried out at the end of the year.

Nord shares said that overseas customers have the characteristics of stable prices and stable returns. At present, the company's focus is on the expansion of overseas customers. The company hopes that the proportion of copper foil product exports will gradually increase to 50% in the future.

In terms of production capacity, its wholly-owned subsidiary Qinghai Electronics 6LR61 battery Copper Foil has a production capacity of about 20,000 tons. Huizhou added 3,000 tons at the end of June to reach 8,000 tons, producing relatively high-end products; the first phase of Qinghai Nord, which was newly landed on August 30, has a production capacity of 10,000 tons, which can produce 6-micron to 8-micron products. Nord shares said that the shipment volume in the first quarter last year was about 5,000 tons, and the first half of this year was about half of last year; in July this year, the monthly production volume was close to 2,000 tons.
