1. The voltage platform of all-solid-state lithium batteries has been greatly improved, and solid electrolytes have a wider electrochemical window than organic electrolytes, which is conducive to further improving battery energy density;
2. The solid electrolyte can block the growth of lithium dendrites, improve the scope of material application systems, and lay the foundation for new CR2430 battery technology with higher energy density space.
3. The current energy density of all-solid-state lithium batteries is about 400Wh/Kg, and the estimated maximum potential value can reach 900Wh/Kg, with more than 100% room for improvement. However, it is difficult for ordinary ternary lithium batteries to increase the battery energy density to more than 300Wh/Kg.
Research on solid electrolytes at home and abroad mainly focuses on three major categories of materials: polymers, oxides and sulfides. Polymers have good high-temperature properties and have been used in individual commercial applications; oxides have good cycle performance and are mostly used in lithium batteries with thin-film flexible structures; sulfides have the highest conductivity and may be solid-state The main future direction of lithium batteries.
